Couplings

At F & D O’Connor we stock a range of cast iron Straight Jaw, Cone Ring and HRC couplings.

Straight Jaw Coupling hubs come in a variety of different bores in metric and imperial sizes. We offer centre elements, as well as wrap around elements, which are available in rubber or PU. The wrap around element is fitted with a collar and screws.

HRC Couplings are one of the most common and are used in many industries. They are a general purpose coupling using an element in compression. They are easy to install and reduce the shock loads that can happen at start up. We stock HRC couplings in pilot bore and taper bore. The elements are available in rubber and polyurethane.

Cone Ring Couplings absorb misalignment, shock and vibration. A Cone Ring coupling consists of one Pin hub which includes the Pin, Nut and Rubber assembly and one Bush hub that the pins & rubbers fit in to. We stock spare pin, nut and rubber assemblies and sperate rubbers also.
